The appeal of cohousing is growing worldwide:
A problem is that a group of amateurs coming together to try to buy land, obtain zoning variances, and manage construction of a real estate development is . . . like, next to impossible. Also, a lot of people want to rent, not design and own, cohousing units.
So there is a professional niche that needs filling. It figures to be plenty lucrative because there is much demand and little supply. I think there are two cohousing development companies on the west coast and one on the east coast. We need a hundred.
