Wish I had been a fly on the wall
Over the weekend Chris Hedges set up a zoom between Cornel West, Jill Stein, and Ajamu Baraka. It brought Cornel into the Green camp:
Jimmy Dore seems to be onboard. Hope we’ll be hearing that Medea Benjamin is, also. And Lisa Savage, Matt Hoh, Katie Halper, Sabrina Salvati, Margaret Kimberley, Gloria Mattera, Margaret Flowers. If so, wow.
What will Ralph say?
I’m not sure why there’s suddenly so much antipathy toward Howie Hawkins. He’s taken some relatively unpopular positions on the Ukraine situation, but that should just result in disagreement, not vilification.
Anyway, if HH will support Cornel and end his own campaign for the nomination, hopefully that will result in a very large extent of unification among Greens. It then could be our most powerful campaign since Nader 2000.
