Where things will wind up

It’s not all so complex, though the process of getting there will be complex.
The paring of the population will be painful.
We’ll wind up where we started out, but being a little more sedentary and knowing a little more. Not much. A lot of the trauma of the aberrant period will be forgotten.
Human cultures and “the planet” will regenerate.
