Mississippi is suing Tennessee over water rights. The aquifer beneath Mississippi is shrinking. Wells have to be drilled deeper . . . at great expense.

The aridity of California is now an annual issue.

It’s in our time that the ecological stresses and exhaustions and depletions are just starting to become immediately problematic. Just a little. Just a tiny percentage of the populace is directly affected in a significantly impactful way.

The impacts will accelerate over time. Over generations.
