Wall Street weighs in

The soaring DJT stock price during October is an indication that Wall Street is expecting a Trump electoral victory.

The MAGA phenomenon really almost makes no sense except to reflect the deep sense of anomie and alienation being experienced by about half of the American populace. There’s no solution for that as the culture and the polity are now constituted. We’ll trudge on until the extreme of the division and the resulting dysfunction breaks apart the Disunited States of America.

That might happen five or six or seven or eight generations from now. Until then it will be a dreary slog-spiral down.
