The sad and sorry people of this society

Having lost community and lost extended family, they don’t know what to do with their children.

Either they send them off to institutions of one kind or another (segregated from society) . . . or they isolate them at home (segregated from society).

Participation in the active and sustaining life of a community is most conducive to learning and the building of character.
