The cultural divide

The map above shows states where abortion clinics figure to be shut down if Roe v. Wade is no longer a factor. But it also gives a sense of the striking cultural divide of the “United States” of America.

Under conditions of (hopefully, future) bioregional sanity, what now is the continental United States would probably be divided into ten or twelve sovereign bioregional commonwealths.
