Scale down, slow down, simplify, decentralize

A problem has been the scaling up. A horror is how it’s happened more and more rapidly. The degree and the speed have created the insanity.

It took decades until private automobile transportation was recognized as problematic, but just years (10? 12?) until the proliferation of cyberspace was recognized as such. Why? Because cyberspace scaled up so quickly:

But the process of scaling up at an accelerating rate will peak. It’s unsustainable.
