Radical change is a pipedream

The electorate shows so little movement in a progressive or ecological direction that I think you have to be a little nuts to believe that our society is going to make major strides (in a timely fashion) toward ameliorating the pending crises.

The realistic perspective is to accept that humanity will be going through the crucible. Nature will survive. Even homo sapiens might survive.
