Poor El Salvador
I had been wondering what would happen to those poor people.
Their elected leader, Nayib Bukele, decided he’d become a big hero by throwing in the lot of their economy with Bitcoin.
“We will have no income tax, forever. No income tax, zero property tax, no procurement tax, zero city tax, and zero CO2 emissions,” he said in a statement in November.
