The concepts and ideals we have in mind re: ecovillages, cohousing, communitarianism, democracy, ecology, sustainability, permaculture, stewardship, responsibility, cooperation, solidarity, sufficiency, regeneration, greening, simplification, re-wilding, re-localization, living lightly, low impact (not to mention: justice, peace, and health) are righteous and valid.

Life rarely proceeds according to ideals, though.
