just a dream

I wish the Greens could be a big umbrella encompassing all the currents of the neo-left: social democratic reformism and identity politics and ecosocialism and visionary bioregionalism.

There’s no reason we couldn’t have ideological caucuses (informal, not official — the official caucuses are based on identity: Black, Latinx, Lavender, Women, Youth). With ideological caucuses co-thinkers would be able to converse in a structured way, get together, brainstorm.

I’d love to see position papers put forward by representatives of each current/caucus explaining why their current has some validity within the whole yet is understanding of why the other currents also have validity and all should co-exist.
