it would be ironic and a cautionary tale

They hate Stein and West, but they’re especially afraid of Kennedy.

The irony is this:

Kennedy sought to run in the Democratic Party primaries. The DNC’s approach to the primaries was that they wanted Biden to stand alone and then be inaugurated at the convention. They essentially shut down the primary race: There would be no debates and minimal ballot access for Biden challengers.

That essentially pushed Kennedy into running as an independent.

So now … instead of anyone seeing him on primary ballots … his challenge will go right through to the general election ballot.

Clearly the Democrats would have been better off allowing a fair primary and getting rid of Kennedy after that process was completed. The rigged primary made Biden look bad, made marginal Dems angry, and bred what the DNC now views as a spoiling monster.

They did it to themselves.
