I told you so

The resonance for the Green campaigns this year is far beyond what it was in 2020.

Back then I wrote about why that would be the case: When the Republicans have been in power (as was Trump 2016–2020) some progressives will view the Democrats as “the alternative” and get very upset about potential Green “spoiling.” But now the Democrats have been in power. Disappointment is rife (of course) and progressives are much more amenable to viewing the Greens as the needed alternative.
