I think we can learn

I’m generally skeptical about technological progress.

Paul Goodman said: “Innovate in order to simplify … otherwise as sparingly as possible.”

Innovative “disruption” is not a good thing. And most new conveniences just enable civilization to keep going further in a misguided direction.

But I do believe in the possibility of progress in terms of consciousness.
