Fear of broaching

If even a serial gobbler of negative attention like me is nervous about publishing someone else’s opinions on a subject, that means no one with even a theoretical link to left-liberal audiences will want to go near this topic voluntarily.

The left has so been brutal to people from their own ranks who’ve tried to raise questions about what by any estimation is an incredibly difficult subject, that nothing like such a film could ever be made on that side.

With sadness I witnessed the above in the Green Party. Its National Committee excommunicated the state party of Georgia because some leading members thought the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights happened to make some good points.

There’s a certain kind of “ultra-politically-correct” leftism these days that tends to induce fear and loathing. Greens ought to primarily focus on the positive and constructive greening of society, but some are preoccupied with identity politics instead. Rabidly so, sometimes, unfortunately.
