As of January 1 there will be no more internet advertising in Great Britain. It has been determined that advertising induces consumerism.

An “Online Safety Bill” with such provisions was passed earlier this month. It also stipulates that financial services industry companies will be given a year’s grace period to shut down their websites. The British government understood that the transition away from an internet presence would take some time for those companies to effectuate. They will have until January 1, 2025 to cease and desist. It has been determined that the financial services industry is harmful to the public.
