It’s quite an historical situation. It’s been going on for over a hundred years. There is no resolution in sight. If you listen to a hundred Mideast experts you will get a hundred differing analyses in regard to the causes, the conditions, and the solutions. Expert Thomas Friedman (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/16/opinion/israel-iran-gaza.html) says all that needs to happen is three-way regime change and the emergence of better leadership in Iran, Palestine, and Israel.
